News from Asia has been causing a lot of nervousness and trouble in recent months among textile refiners, their customers and OEMs.
Extreme dye shortages and supply bottlenecks in some areas have led to massive price increases, which is a difficult situation for Lindenfarb and its customers!
The textile dye suppliers speak of an unprecedented situation, caused among other things by production shutdowns in the past especially in Europe and simultaneous outsourcing to Asia. There were further company closures in China and India for environmental reasons.
Lindenfarb has been trying for some time to use dyes of alternative suppliers in its formulas when possible and at lower prices.
